Management Committee

We are run by a Management Committee which is made up of members of the community, and we also have a Preschool Steering Group

Joy Crowther has stepped down after several years as secretary/chair of the Preschool Committee and steering group. We would like to thank her for her support over the years and wish her the very best in future endeavours.

We have some new members joining us; Louise Stonehouse, Emma Marsden and Bethany Williams who’s children all attend preschool.

Louise is our Volunteer Safeguarding Lead.

We are always looking for new members to join our management committee. Sowood Preschool and Community Association welcome fresh ideas and you do not need any particular experience or skills, just a willingness to support us.  Our meetings are held around once a month. To help us enhance your child’s learning and achieve our goals we are reaching out to parents and members of the community – we have lots of exciting ideas, but need your help.  Please pop along, we look forward to seeing you!

Our next Committee Meeting is:

Chair: Malcolm James

Treasurer: Caroline Remmers

Secretary: Liz Whyte

Steering group Members:

Louise Stonehouse, Molly and Maisy’s mum

Emma Marsden, Bella’s mum

Bethany Williams, Harlow’s mum
