Some of the lovely comments from the report:
Children’s smiles and laughter are contagious in this welcoming pre-school. They
enjoy their time here and show that they are happy, content and feel safe.
A strength of the pre-school is the support it has in place for children with
special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff work with children on a oneto-one basis to help them achieve the best possible outcomes. Managers use
funding effectively to provide children with additional learning opportunities.
We have amended the menu slightly up to the end of term and have incorporated meals that we know the children enjoy.
If you have any suggestions of meals we could introduce to try, meals you cook at home that your child loves then please send us the recipe! That’s the best thing about cooking our own dinners, we can change it to suit the children.
Here is the menu… week commencing 13th December it will be slightly different as we are having our Christmas dinner on Weds 15th December.
13th Dec – Jacket Potato with choice of filling
14th Dec – Mac n Cheese
15th Dec – Christmas Dinner (turkey and trimmings)
16th Dec – Lasagne
17th Dec – Homemade pizza
Ofsted will be at Preschool on Friday 2nd July, if parents/carers would like to speak to the inspector please ask a member of staff.
We have been lucky enough to receive a grant from Community Foundation Calderdale to enable us to provide some families with help towards food shopping over the Easter holidays.
We have devised a brand new menu to promote healthy eating at Preschool.
We have catered for children with dietary requirements and allergies and included vegetarian dishes.
We cook all our meals fresh daily so these may be subject to change.
A full list of allergens to follow.
If you wish to bring in your own packed lunch then please make sure it is a healthy lunchbox and we ask that there are no nut or egg products included due to children with allergies.
We are having a Christmas Party on Monday 2nd December from 3.30-5pm. There will be a visit from Santa and disco with tea included. £6.00 per child, siblings welcome
